Here we have a 1986 TVR 420 SEAC, No. 3 of 38 produced. A rare car.

The car was originally a show car for TVR and was registered by TVR themselves. Started life Silver in colour but the first owner wanted a Black one so TVR painted this one for him.

The first 10 cars are beleived to be the better built cars with the kevlar bodies

The car had a new speedo fitted at 18,000 miles so the current mileage of 22,000 is displayed.

The car has some service hitory and receipts from it's early days, when the car was used by Fugitive films Knotting Hill Gate & Filmstar studios 

There is a pile of mot cert's that show how the mileage adds up.

The car has been garaged all of it's life and owned by my brother for 12 years. Only ever light use at weekends.

Tube Torque of Macclesfeild made a custom Stainless Steel exhaust which really has to be heard to be beleived!

 

The overall condition of the car is good however would suit a small amount of effort and money to bring the car back up to the standard it deserves. Some of the laquer on the bonnet has lifted off in an area smaller than a beer mat, also there is a chip to the petrol filler cap. The bottom of the skirt below the front bumper has touched the odd curb and has some chips to the corners, the photo's show this.

The interior could do with a small amount of work mainly a good clean. The woodwork of the dash fascia has warped and discoloured, the laquer on the door handle woodwork has become brittle and broken. The leather seats and other leather trim is all original and remarkably sound.

The hood is in excellent condition, as is the space saver alloy spare wheel. All 4 tyres are like new!

There is an expensive Cobra alarm fitted that works however the key fob has done a disapearing act.

Regrettable sale, due to family commitments, need something that can accomodate a child seat. Nudge nudge wink wink, something like the size of an XK8!
