Exterior shots. Spoiler could do with further polishing/cutting in after it’s spraying due to the recent purchase. Bonnet has faded slightly when viewed in false light due to large horizontal surface and engine heat soak (Wedge feature) – The current owner has not noticed this when outside/in the sun. Minor (single 1/2” ish scratch under boot lip)

As far as can be noticed the car is part Aramid Composite (the nose cone and doors flex and there is weave evident on the edges of the nose cone).

Engine could do with a little better tune (i.e. breathed on by Mark Adams). It pinked when the current owner got it so the ignition has been stepped back a bit from 31 to 28 degrees BTDC as recommended by Pistonhead Wedgers & it runs noticeably better. It also runs on Shell Optimax when used currently & with some octane booster. The engine does not appear to have the NCK035 number on it but it does have the polyvee SEAC drive and the NCK intake plenum. On initial drive when the current owner drove it gently around North London it didn’t seem to pull low down but after purchase and once able to stretch the cars legs it seems to come on cam at 4k and rev sweetly through 6.5k, suggesting a solid lift cam (clearly this cannot be confirmed by the current owner). One or two Piston Headers saw the car at Mania and one has been in the car. See the “Must be Mad” thread on Wedges on Pistonheads.

Car can be seen on Page 28 of Octobers Sprint Magazine. This was at Mania 2003.
